The Team
The team comprises of Duncan Bush, Michael Ferguson, Kelly Knight, Tessa Rylott and Leah McAneney.
Duncan Bush - Optometrist

Having spent two years practicing optometry in the centre of Auckland, Duncan Bush and his wife Gwen, decided there was more to life than living in a big city. In 1975 Duncan started working for A. Brian King. At the end of 1975, Brian King retired and Duncan became the youngest solo practitioner in the country at that time.
Michael Ferguson - Optometrist

At the end of 1994, Michael Ferguson finished his optometry degree and moved to Gisborne to start his career. His intention was to stay for a year, but he too found the lifestyle (especially the surf), very attractive.
Kelly Knight - Practice Manager and Dispensing Optician

Having previously worked for now retired Ophthalmologist Gabriel Martinez, Kelly has been with the practice since 2003 and recently gained a qualification as a Dispensing Optician.
Tessa Rylott - Receptionist / Optical Assistant

After spending several years in the country; from running the General Store at Motu, farming and driving the school bus, Tessa is enjoying the city lifestyle and has been with the practice since 2006.
Leah McAneney - Receptionist / Optical Assistant

Leah and her family have recently returned from Great Barrier Island to be with her family and enjoy the great Gisborne lifestyle. She spent her time on Great Barrier Island writing for the local paper and volunteer fire fighting.
